INJECTION SYSTEM |
The injection systems on PacMar machines are
very fast, extremely powerful and consistent.

| First Stage: Slow Injection Starts |
Injection
start with the opening of the injection enable valve on the front
chamber of the injection cylinder to allow hydraulic fluid
flowing out and the opening of the slow injection spool type solenoid valve to allow
hydraulic fluid flowing from pump into the back chamber of the cylinder.
|
 |
| Second Stage: Medium Speed Injection Starts |
When plunger travels to programmed position, the medium injection speed
cartridge valve opens to start the second stage injection. The medium speed
injection is to bridge the wide gap between the extremely fast speed
injection and the slow speed injection. The hydraulic power now comes
from the accumulator.
|
 |
| Third Stage: Fast Speed Injection Starts |
When plunger travels pass the programmed fast shot start
position, all the injection valves open. The hydraulic power flows
from the special designed low inertia high flow accumulator located
right on top of the injection cylinder
directly into the rear chamber and pushes the plunger to travel
exceeds 280 inches per seconds velocity.

Intensification
 |
| Forth Stage: Fast Speed Injection Starts |
shot is the most tricky yet important
part of the die casting process. It makes or breaks the quality of the casting.
Intensification has to start at the right moment within few milliseconds
of time window to be effective. To ensure the effectiveness of the
intensification, PacMar designs the intensification to start on both
position trigger and back pressure trigger. Both can be adjusted to
suite the user's particular application. The intensification cylinder rod
also serves as a shut off valve for the fast injection. With fine tuned
right timing, the PacMar intensification can both eliminates unnecessary
flashing and intensifies the casting pressure.
